The ESPN X-Games are coming up this weekend in LA!! And competing in this Rally Car Racing event is Travis Hanson of T. Hanson Motorsports who will be racing his 2007 Subaru WRX STi Super Production car from the Rally America Series. With the help and support of his fellow Subaru drivers and fans, Travis drove cross country from New Hampshire to Los Angeles to compete with big names like Ken Block and former Indy 500 winner, Kenny Brack. One of his pit stops during his travels happened to be at our very own Tom Wood Subaru dealership last Monday night where he was presented with a donation of funds from the Indiana Impreza Club and a care package by a representative from the Subaru factory in Lafayette, IN to help his cause.
And if you're feeling the need for speed yourself, head out to the Subaru plant in West Lafayette on August 21st where Subaru of America is presenting the 2010 Subaru Challenge at SIA. This is a one day auto cross event in which Tom Wood Subaru is a sponsoring dealership. Appropriately, only Subaru's are permitted to compete for the fastest run.
