Subaru owners now have a unique way to show their loyalty and passion for the brand with Subaru's new Badge of Ownership program. The Badge of Ownership is Subaru's gift to their owners for being part of the Subaru family. Each unique Badge of Ownership reflects the number of Subaru vehicles that have been owned, along with badges that reflect the interests and hobbies of each individual owner.
Vehicle customization with badges and awards has long been popular in Europe and Japan, but is a fairly new idea to North America. Subaru, however, has decided that the time has come to introduce its own badge system in an attempt to bring together what is already one of the most closely-knit ownership groups in the industry.
By filling out a simple web based form, Subaru owners will receive a blue badge showing how many Subaru vehicles they've previously owned. They can accessorize this main badge by choosing up to twelve 'lifestyle badges' that display their interests, hobbies and even mileage feats.
Each Badge of Ownership has an adhesive backing so it can be easily affixed to any metal surface, and participation in the program is completely free with a valid Subaru VIN.
