2017 Subaru WRX Details

Similar to the 2016 Subaru Forester, the 2017 Subaru WRX is available in several trims, including a base model and the Premium, Limited, STI, and STI Limited trims. The base model and the Premium Limited and STI trims have a standard 2-liter four-cylinder, horizontally opposed Subaru Boxer engine that produces 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The two upper trims have a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder, horizontally opposed Boxer engine. This engine generates 305 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque.

All of the 2017 Subaru WRX trims have brake assist, which will immediately apply pressure on your brakes when necessary depending on how quickly you press your brake pedal. All of these sport sedans also have a brake-override system that reduces the operation of your accelerator pedal when you press both the brake and gas pedal simultaneously. This system is designed to prevent you from speeding up unintentionally.

2017 Subaru WRX Safety and Special Features

The standard safety features on the new Subaru WRX include daytime running lights, vehicle dynamics control with active torque vectoring, four-wheel antilock brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a rearview camera. Depending on the model you buy or lease when you visit our Indianapolis, IN Subaru dealership, your sport sedan may also have blind spot detection, a rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, lane change assist, and STARLINK Safety and Security service.

As it is with our other Subaru models, the 2017 Subaru WRX has a lot of standard and available convenience features that consumers expect in a new Subaru automobile. These features include a power moonroof, heated exterior mirrors, a navigation system, heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, Bluetooth connectivity, a touchscreen display, and an audio system that has HD and SiriusXM radio, a USB port, and various music apps.
